Account Deletion Policy

1. Overview

Ludott L.L.C-FZ (“Ludott”, “we”, “our”) respects your right to delete your account and all associated personal data from the Ludott platform. This policy explains how to request account deletion, what data is removed, what may be retained, and the timeline for processing your request.

2. How to Request Account Deletion

You may request the deletion of your Ludott account using any of the following methods:

  • Email: Send an email to hello@ludott.com with the subject line “Account Deletion Request”. Include the email address associated with your Ludott account.
  • In-App: Navigate to your account settings within the Ludott app and select the “Delete Account” option, if available.

Our team will verify your identity before processing the request to ensure the security of your account.

3. What Data Gets Deleted

Upon successful processing of your account deletion request, the following data will be permanently removed:

  • Your profile information and account credentials
  • All personal data associated with your account (name, email, phone number, etc.)
  • Your activity history, preferences, and notification settings
  • Any content you have created within the platform (posts, messages, uploads)
  • Saved payment method tokens linked to your account
  • Push notification tokens and device registrations

4. What Data May Be Retained

Certain data may be retained after account deletion where required by law or legitimate business purposes:

  • Billing & financial records: Invoice amounts, billing periods, payment status, and transaction history are retained for a minimum of 5 years to comply with financial record-keeping requirements under UAE law.
  • Legal obligations: Data required to comply with applicable laws, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements may be retained as permitted by the governing jurisdiction.
  • Aggregated or anonymized data: De-identified data that can no longer be associated with you may be retained for analytics and service improvement purposes.

5. Active Subscriptions

If you have an active paid subscription at the time of your account deletion request:

  • Your subscription will be cancelled, and access will continue until the end of the current billing period.
  • Account deletion will be processed after the billing period ends.
  • Refund eligibility is governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
  • No further charges will be applied after the deletion request is confirmed.

6. Organization Administrators

If you are the sole administrator of an organization on the Ludott platform, deleting your account may affect the organization and its members. Before processing your request, we may ask you to:

  • Transfer administrative ownership to another user within the organization.
  • Confirm whether the entire organization and its associated data should also be deleted.

7. Processing Timeline

Account deletion requests are processed within 30 days of identity verification. You will receive a confirmation email once your account and personal data have been permanently deleted.

During the processing period, your account will be deactivated and you will not be able to access the platform. If you change your mind within this period, contact us at hello@ludott.com to cancel the deletion request.

8. Third-Party Data

When your account is deleted, we will also request the removal of your data from the third-party services we use, where applicable. These include:

  • Network International (N-Genius) — Stored payment tokens will be revoked.
  • Google Firebase — Push notification tokens will be deregistered.
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) — Uploaded files and stored data associated with your account will be removed.

Please note that some third-party providers may retain data according to their own retention policies.

9. Your Rights

In addition to account deletion, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data held by Ludott.
  • Correct any inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Export your personal data in a portable format.
  • Object to the processing of your data or request restriction.

10. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update this Account Deletion Policy at any time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
